Growth aspect for Mainland in South China Sea

South China Sea... Is it china type of growth..??

Situated in the pacific ocean, nowadays recent activities in the area has accelerated with China wanting to grow its presence in that area; with building islands, to be precise floating military base camps. Whatever be the actual reason only Chinese official would be knowing. We all have to watch the events to unfold.
I think their might be a reason for those activities. Country locked area surrounded by Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia & Indonesia. With economies like Malaysia, Philippine and Vietnam growing at 6% from 2011-15; Myanmar at 8.5% from 2011-15 & Cambodia at 8.5% from 2011-15; Indonesia at 5% from 2011-15.years.Apart from suiting geographical positioning its also plays an crucial pathway in flow of world trade. Adding to that it is also rich in natural resources mostly oil. With estimates like 130 billion barrel of oil could be found. This might also be the reason for falling crude prices from $110 to $40 in last 2 years and it could also be historical turning point for commodity prices all round the globe.

With China starving for energy like other land lock countries in this region it might well play boost for Mainland growth vehicles. With China focusing on domestic consumption theme these factors might help in longer tenure. 2/3rd of South Korea, 60%of Taiwan and Japan energy supply in crude form came from South China Sea.If china trying to control this region; So they can indirectly influence these economies too.

South China Sea is the second busiest route in world with almost $5 trillion worth of international trade goes thru this passage every year. Is China sending some kind of message to world or just finding ways to fuel its economic growth engines.
